Happy Easter!

What a fun weekend, even though Lizzie was sick. Isn't that just our luck?!? She couldn't go to the neighborhood Easter egg hunt on Saturday, so we had one for her at home. That afternoon we colored eggs. On Sunday morning after the girls looked through their baskets, Hallie got dressed up beautifully and went to church with Dad. Lizzie and I stayed home and got ready for our Easter dinner. Nana came over that afternoon, and we had a great time. The highlight of the dinner for the girls was the Easter Bunny cake.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Lizzie!

Lizzie had a great birthday this year. She loved opening presents and got lots of cute new outfits for summer and lots of toys to play with too. Since we had the wedding on Lizzie's birthday, we had a party for her a couple days later. She had a fun time and seemed to love all the attention. She got a little embarrassed when everyone sang to her. She looked so cute. Thanks to Kendall & Josy and their kids, Nana, and Kim, Izzy, & Megan for joining us.

Here Come the Flower Girls!

Lizzie had a great birthday because she and Hallie got to be flower girls at Kristee's wedding. It was a beautiful event. Kristee looked gorgeous, and the girls did great. We were all wondering whether Lizzie would pull it off or not, but she was perfect! Hallie and Gracey, Braxton's niece, did great too. The girls loved wearing their dresses and enjoyed the dinner after the wedding. We were so flattered that Kristee would ask our girls to be a part of her special day!

Happy 6th Birthday, Hallie!!!

Even though she stayed home from school because of a cold, Hallie had a great birthday. She made cupcakes with her new cupcake maker and played with new High School Musical dolls. That evening Nana came for dinner and birthday cake. A few days later Hallie got to celebrate her birthday at school and that afternoon had a fun party with some of her friends.

A Weekend in AZ

We had a great time going to Arizona with Grandma to see the Maher family. We loved celebrating with Jett after he got his Blackbelt, and we were so proud of him. Hallie and Lizzie always have a great time playing with cousins and getting lots of attention from Grandma and Aunt Angie. One of Hallie's highlights of our trip was panning for gold at Lost Dutchman's Mine.

American Idol

Our family is just as happy as everyone else to have American Idol back on TV. Let's face it...It's America's new favorite past time.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Apparently the girls are getting a little spring fever because the other day they both decided to put on their swimsuits. They have been excited about Valentine's Day to give them things to do and places to go.

Hallie and Lizzie both got matching sweaters for Valentine's Day from Grandma, and she also made them bags for their Valentines. Hallie couldn't wait to deliver all of her Valentines to her friends at school.
